20091103 Less time in prison because of "violent" genes?
In March 2007 an Algerian man, who was living in Italy, stabbed another man to death. The Algerian man was sentenced to just over nine years in prison for his crime. This year the defense, however, claimed that the Algerian man should receive less time in prison because he was carrying variants of genes that in some studies have been linked to aggressive behavior. The judge listened to the defense and shortened the Algerian man's time in prison with one year.

20091017 Afghan child killed by Danish troops
Three Afghan civilians, one father and two of his daugthers, were accidentally hit by gunfire from Danish troops on Monday. Tragically the younger daugther did not survive the injuries she got. The father and his surviving daugther got medical treatment and will survive.
